As we approach the remarkable milestone of the 35th anniversary of the release of Batman: The Roleplaying Game, along with the iconic film, BATMAN!, in 2024, an exciting idea has come to my attention. With the ongoing project to revamp and update the layout of the DC Heroes 3rd edition, why not embark on a similar venture for the Batman RPG?
After careful consideration, I realized that despite my limited experience in publishing an RPG and layout design, this could be a thrilling undertaking to tackle before June 2024. It was during that very month when the Batman movie first graced the silver screen, and coincidentally, the game made its debut that same summer.
My vision for this project involves capturing the essence of the Batman '89 comic book style. It seems fitting to draw inspiration from the "Burtonverse," as this game was initially crafted to complement the cinematic masterpiece that is Batman 1989, along with its sequels Batman Returns and Batman Continues.
